About The Center

Our Mission

The mission of the Clinton County Adult Day Center is to provide supervision and/or assistance with the activities of daily living to impaired adults in a protective group setting. This service enables clients to remain in the community, and allows families to continue caring for their loved ones at home, thus avoiding premature and inappropriate

 institutionalization.

The Clinton County Adult Day Center was founded in 1991 as a non-profit organization and has been faithfully serving clients for over 25 years. Our program's founder, the late Darleen Myers, saw a need in the community and diligently researched what could be done to fill the need. As a result of their hard work, we are an organization that works with families, caregivers, case managers, and medical support staff to provide care for each individual.

Our Goals

To promote the individual's maximum level of independence and functioning for

as long as possible, stimulating minds and bodies according to their ability.

To make the individuals as comfortable as possible while they are here.

To offer clients the opportunity to participate in activities that are meaningful

and that address their physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual wellness.
